Although it was a brisk, winter evening in Sandy Utah when Katana and Liam tied the knot last February, it was nice and warm in the lush, green garden of the Le Jardin Wedding Venue. The garden center was adorned with twinkle lights, fountains, and the most impressive plants from tiny succulents to tall trees. Rose petals and tea lights covered the tables, and you really could feel the love that was in the air.
I knew the ceremony would be something special from the moment Liam took his place at the arbor. The flower girls almost stole the show, but when Katana began her walk down the aisle, I’m sure everyone’s heart skipped a beat. It was so tender to watch Liam as he gazed at his beautiful bride. One of my favorite moments was the embrace shared between Katana and her father before he presented her to Liam. The ceremony was so wonderful, and I laughed and cried along with everyone else in attendance. I was very thankful that my camera did an excellent job of staying in focus, even when my eyes kept tearing up.
The celebration continued with toasts, cake cutting, and of course, the best dance party. It was such a joy to photograph and truly a night to remember. As the reception drew to a close, all the guests gathered around to give Katana and Liam a sparkler send-off as they ran into the night.
Katana & Liam, if there ever were soulmates, it’d be you two. I could tell from the moment I met you both that you were perfect for each other. The joy and love that your relationship brings is so apparent in all your interactions, it was a privilege to witness it. I hope your marriage continues to be filled with joy, love and laughter for the rest of your lives!
