Windy Spring Wedding at Mount Timpanogos & the Lodge at Traverse Mountain

Updated: Jun 7, 2023

Kylee and Adam were married and sealed for time and all eternity on the most beautiful spring day at the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah. The trees surrounding the temple were in full bloom, covered in pink and white blossoms that rustled in the wind. Everything about this day made me wish I could go back in time and have a spring wedding.

As Kylee and Adam exited the temple as husband and wife, they were surrounded by family and friends to greet and congratulate them on their temple sealing. Kylee is the youngest and last of her siblings to get married, so she has lots of cute nieces and nephews. Some of them even drew pictures and wrote notes for Kylee and Adam. You can tell that they’ve already reached favorite aunt and uncle status.

Blue skies and sunshine held out for family pictures and the wind slowly blew in a soft cloud cover while we took pictures of Kylee and Adam on the temple grounds, now as husband and wife.

Their wedding reception was held at the Lodge at Traverse Mountain in Lehi, Utah. As the weather turned stormy, it ended up being the perfect cozy setting for the evening. Wildflowers adorned every surface and bistro lights hung from the ceiling. Penguin Brothers catered ice cream sandwiches and Italian sodas. The air was full of chatter as every table was filled with friends and family to support Kylee and Adam.

Kylee and Adam, I am so glad I got to be a part of your wedding day! I loved every detail, from the cake to your wedding dress. Everything seemed to reflect the simple beauty and love that you two share. I loved watching the way you carried yourselves with a gentle grace throughout the day. I have no doubt that those qualities have already served you well in your marriage and will continue to do so throughout your life. Happy anniversary!!
